About me
I’m Sònia Sola, a licensed health psychologist.
My name is Sònia Sola. I am a licensed health psychologist, specialized in sex therapy, couples therapy, gender-based violence, care for LGBTQ+ individuals, emotional dependency, and self-esteem from a feminist and gender perspective. I invite you into a safe and confidential space where you can explore and understand your difficulties with calm and trust.
Therapy is a supportive process that helps you navigate moments of crisis and distress, deepen self-knowledge, and facilitate the change you want in order to reach your personal development and well-being goals, using tools and your own resources and strengths as the foundation for transformation.
This space stems from my experience as a psychologist and also from an ethical and sensitive view of the context in which we live. A perspective that understands wellbeing not as an individual goal, but as something that is built between the personal and the social, between what we feel, experience and what affects us.

Integrative therapeutic approach
I work from a broad and comprehensive view of the human being, understanding that each person is unique and that their therapeutic process must be adapted to their specific circumstances and needs. Therefore, I employ a flexible combination of techniques and tools from different psychological schools of thought, always seeking the most appropriate option for you.
My theoretical basis is mainly supported by psychodynamic and relational models, which value the importance of emotions, past experiences, and relationships in personal development. However, when the situation requires it, I incorporate practical and focused strategies, such as those derived from cognitive behavioural therapy and mindfulness, to enhance the process of change and well-being.
This integrative approach allows me to support you with professionalism and sensitivity, offering a space where you can grow and transform through your own strengths.
That is why I provide online therapeutic support based on care, listening and ethical commitment. I work with young people and adults of different identities and orientations, tailoring therapy to each person’s real needs. Sessions can be conducted in Catalan, Spanish or English.
My goal is to offer you a safe space where you can access tools, understanding, and support throughout your process.
